Planning Overview
QPS will come to your site for a meeting or series of meetings with the objective of understanding your goals for the project. Client expectations are best met when they are thoroughly understood and documented. It is our goal in the planning overview to let you elaborate your vision of the project scope. Orders can be planned and the business relationships defined.
The different classes of work such as engineering, purchasing, design, fabrication, assembly, controls, wiring, rigging and commissioning are broken down into lists of work packages for each Product or class of Products. The work packages are assigned to key individuals or subcontracted. Schedules are usually prepared for the different classes of work packages based on resource availability.
