Bid Packages
As part of the initial consultation (or for larger projects, as an ongoing task in the project plan) QPS will prepare Bid Packages on the customer's behalf.
For equipment, we use the Individual System Specifications as a basis for the request. Where time permits, it is prudent to solicit and thus lower project costs. The preparation of Bid Packages for equipment requires customer input with respect to the Individual System Specifications and User Requirements. Depending on the project stage, these bid packages may benefit from have detail Design Specifications, although those are often customized to single vendor and thus prevent competitive bidding.
Certain projects may benefit from bid packages sent to building contractors. When needed, QPS can manage facility build outs, renovations, and reworks and we prefer to obtain multiple bids for construction.
